Health Update

Being that this is the first post about Health Issues, I guess I should start from the beginning.

In Aug of 09' the doctor told me I have cirrhosis of liver. He was nice enough to preface it with “Non-Alcoholic” being I have really never drunk. A few weeks after that he told Jayne and I that I would not make it to 60 on this liver. Now that was not something we felt good about.

Since that time nothing has really been down. My blood count won’t get high enough for the doctor to feel comfortable to do a biopsy. Who knows when that will happen?

I have been losing weight without having to do much. I have lost about 40 lbs. since the whole thing started. I like that, but I know it is muscle tone and that is not really the best.

The major problem that I have is dealing with pain from all the past stuff like back, legs, hip and shoulders. Now we can add hands and they are not allowing me to take anything for any of the pain. Oh what fun!!!

OK, with all that, I have to say that I feel great otherwise. I have really never felt happier in my life. There are so many great friends that have me in their prayers and I really feel it. What a wonderful blessing.
